About the Special Grant Programs

The Special Grant Programs of the Paul Ncharam Foundation provide direct project funding and strategic partnerships to organisations working on the frontlines of community development across Nigeria. Unlike our individual scholarships and personal assistance schemes, these grants are awarded to registered organisations, schools, youth groups and grassroots initiatives with a clear, fundable project plan. We fund work in education, water and sanitation, youth empowerment, healthcare access, and community infrastructure, prioritising initiatives that are locally led, measurable, and built to last beyond the grant period.

Project Grants

Direct funding for well-defined community projects, awarded against an approved budget and clear deliverables, with disbursement tied to verified milestones.

Strategic Partnerships

Beyond cash, we offer co-funding, technical guidance and access to our network so your organisation can scale proven work and reach more beneficiaries.

Ongoing Support & Oversight

Eligibility Requirements

Registered NGOs, non-profits or community-based organisations with valid CAC registration in Nigeria Public or non-profit schools and educational institutions operating in Nigeria Registered or recognised youth organisations and associations Community groups and local development initiatives with a recognised leadership structure Organisations with a clear, fundable project that benefits a defined Nigerian community Applicants able to demonstrate basic financial accountability and the capacity to deliver and report on the project

Rolling intake — applications accepted year-round; reviewed in quarterly funding cycles.

Applications are reviewed in the order received, and early, complete applications are prioritised.

Required Documents

Gather these documents before applying. You’ll upload them directly in the form below.

  • CAC certificate of registration or official proof of the organisation's legal/recognised status

  • Detailed project proposal stating objectives, beneficiaries, activities and expected impact

  • Itemised project budget in Nigerian naira (₦), with a clear breakdown of how funds will be used

  • Profile of the organisation including leadership, governance and a summary of past activities

  • Most recent financial statement or audited accounts (where available)

  • Supporting evidence such as photos, letters of community support, or partner references
