The Paul Ncharam Foundation Scholarship Program helps Nigerian students stay in school by covering the real costs of education and pairing each scholar with a mentor. We support students who face financial hardship as well as those who demonstrate outstanding academic promise.

About the Scholarship Program

The Scholarship Program provides financial aid and structured mentorship to Nigerian students who might otherwise be unable to complete their education. Beyond tuition, we cover school supplies and connect scholars to a network of mentors and peers who guide them academically and personally. The program runs along two tracks, Financial Need and Academic Excellence, so that both struggling students and high-achievers can find the support they deserve.

Tuition & Fees Covered

We pay tuition and approved school fees directly to your institution, so cost is never the reason a willing student drops out.

Books & School Supplies

Scholars receive support for textbooks, exam materials, and essential learning supplies needed for the academic year.

Mentorship & Peer Network

Every scholar is matched with a dedicated mentor and joins a community of fellow PNF scholars for guidance and encouragement.

Eligibility Requirements

Nigerian citizen currently enrolled in, or admitted to, a recognised primary, secondary, or tertiary institution in Nigeria Demonstrated financial need (Financial Need track) or a strong academic record, typically a minimum of 60% average or equivalent (Academic Excellence track) Committed to remaining in full-time study for the duration of the award Willing to participate in the mentorship program and attend periodic check-ins Not currently receiving a full scholarship covering the same costs from another organisation

Rolling intake — applications are accepted year-round, with awards reviewed each academic term

Applications are reviewed in the order received, and early, complete applications are prioritised.

Required Documents

  • Completed PNF scholarship application form

  • Valid means of identification (National ID, birth certificate, or international passport)

  • Current admission letter or proof of enrolment from your school

  • Most recent academic results or report card (especially required for the Academic Excellence track)

  • Evidence of financial need, such as a guardian's income statement or a letter from a community or religious leader (Financial Need track)

  • Recent passport photograph
